Military Odyssey

27/28/29 August Now come of age, the largest and most popular re-enactment/living history event in the calendar now runs for three days. Featuring two main arenas for the largest displays with many smaller displays taking place around the vast site. It also has one of the major militaria markets in the South of the country. The Great War Society will set up a living history encampment and take part in the main arena display.

'Life in the Trenches'

Invitation to Northern Ireland by Armagh City & District Council to appear at the Palace Stables Heritage Centre. Travel out by ferry in hired vehicles from Holyhead to Dublin / Fleetwood to Larne on Friday, 23rd Sept. Return from Northern Ireland on Sunday, 25th Sept.

An important new event at the Black Country Museum at Dudley, West Midlands, on October 29th & 3Oth. The Society's AGM will also be held at this event.
