10th & 11th June. A return to this excellent 'living history' period town, circa 1913, to portray a pre-war Territorial Force Summer Camp. Living History camp, displays, drill, etc.

Somme 90. Bus les Artois. pm.

GWS 'Pals' will form an honour guard at the unveiling of a new memorial to the Leeds Pals in this Pals billeting village then march out, after visiting the original village estaminet and viewing the remnants of original billets - for Courcelles and the front - as the Pals did in 1916.

'Somme 90'. Mesnil. am.

Living History Campsite at Mesnil, Somme, as part of the 'Somme 90' commemorations. June 30th- July 3rd. French schoolchildren and other interested groups will visit this period tented camp 'behind the lines'.

'Somme 90'. Lochnagar Crater.

We are honoured to be invited to this prestigious annual commemoration at La Boisselle by Richard Dunning and the Friends of Lochnagar to form an honour guard to commemorate 'Zero' hour at 7.30 a.m. and the commencement of the Battle of the Somme, 1916.

'Somme 90'. Serre Road No. 1.

'Last Post for the Pals'. This GWS-organised event at Serre Road No.1 CWGC cemetery at 7.45 pm will commemorate the sacrifices on July 1st 1916 of The Bradford and Leeds Pals and all Pals Battalions of the 31st Division which attacked the fortified village of Serre. GWS members will march in from Euston Road CWGC cemetery for this service of commemoration and wreath laying.
