Fromelles - The Somme

Attendance by GWS members at the new CWGC Pheasant Wood Cemetery, for the re-burial of the first of 247 British & Australian troops recently discovered in the area. These casualties were buried by the Germans in the wake of the ill-fated attack at FROMELLES in 1916.

Royal Hospital - Chelsea

Parade for the SSAFA (Soldiers' Sailors' & Air Forces' Association), to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of this noble services charity. Event includes a cheque presentation by the GWS.

BCM & 29th Division Memorial

Training Event at the Black Country Museum in Dudley, West Midlands on Saturday 13/3/10 and Parade and Memorial Service at the 29th Division Memorial near Wolston on Sunday 14/3/10 for the 95th Anniversary of the King's review of the 'Incomparable' 29th (Regular) Division prior to their departure for the Dardanelles in 1915.

Nottingham Castle

Parade at the unveiling of a new memorial to the VC winners of Nottinghamshire. GWS British troops will parade with the Regular Army, the Royal British Legion & the Army Cadet Force.
