ASTLEY PARK, CHORLEY - living-history camp display, at the open day held by the CHORLEY Branch of the Royal British Legion, to mark the 90th Anniversary commemoration of the founding of the Haig Fund / Poppy Appeal.

Fusiliers Museum - Bury Lancs

The Y&L will be providing a show and tell display of Great War period artefacts in the Fusiliers Museum in Bury on 30th May 2011.

Haig Homes - Carshalton

HAIG HOMES, Carshalton, Surrey - early Armed Forces' Day event, in support of forces' charities. GWS British troops will provide a living-history area, in conjunction with displays by modern army personnel.

Trowbridge

TROWBRIDGE, Wiltshire 25 & 26 June - organised by the TROWBRIDGE Veterans' Association for Armed Forces' Weekend, all GWS units will be present. The event will feature GWS living-history displays & arena demonstrations, plus a commemorative march on Friday evening - all monies raised will be forwarded to the Royal British Legion for their 90th Anniversary appeal.

Kelmarsh Hall

KELMARSH HALL, Northants. - multi-period event for English Heritage on 16th & 17th July, with GWS British & German troops in attendance. Trench experience display, plus full 'behind-the-lines' infantry rest camps & Casualty Clearing Station displays. (The Annual General Meeting of the Great War Society will also be held on the Saturday evening, 16th July).

BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM, West Midlands August 6th & 7th - British event featuring living-history presentations by GWS troops, plus the Great War wedding ceremony of one of our Middlesex Regt. men.
