Old Warden - Bedfordshire

Sunday 7th August - the Shuttleworth Collection's Edwardian Pageant. Our RFC types, both officers and Other Ranks, will be camped out on the airfield giving our usual living-history displays and kit presentations in support of the venue's superb collection of original Great War aircraft.

August 20th / 21st - Centenary commemorative event at the historic Wyndham Park, to include full British infantry camp and General Hospital display. The event is aimed at cultivating interest in local Great War heritage, and what better venue than the park named after local Great War hero, Captain Reginald WYNDHAM?

Saturday 3rd September - Centenary commemoration of the first shooting down of a German airship over England, by Lt. William Leefe ROBINSON of the Royal Flying Corps. This act of great courage and airmanship earned Robinson the Victoria Cross.

September 10th / 11th - local event for our Wales-based Tommies at the National History Museum of Wales, based within their Edwardian / Great War-era farmhouse.

Saturday September 17th - the Tank Museum's 'TANK 100' event, to commemorate the first use of tanks in action by the British Army, during the 1916 Somme battle.
