Didcot, Oxfordshire

August 19th / 20th - national event at the Didcot Railway Centre. Full attendance with British infantry camp, plus British hospital train display by our 24th General Hospital staff.

Lancashire Infantry Museum

Heritage Open Day at the splendid Lancashire Infantry Museum, located within historic Fulwood Barracks, Preston. GWS YORK & LANCASTER Tommies will be in attendance, as usual, with displays to offer an insight into the everyday life of the Great War British infantryman. GWS 24th GENERAL HOSPITAL will also be in attendance with a Great War medical display.

TRENCHES!! A section of GWS British infantry is manning the original Great War training trenches at RAF HALTON, in support of the station Open Day.

Christchurch, Dorset

September 24th - St. Catherine's Hill History Day. BRITISH INFANTRY!! The event will showcase our 1917 British infantry training camp, to demonstrate the weaponry, equipment and tactics of 'the man at the sharp end' on the Western Front of a Century ago. The event takes place on the site of an original Great War New Zealand forces training area, and we shall be honoured with a visit from the Deputy New Zealand High Commissioner.

Whittington Barracks, Staffs.

November 11th / 12th - 'Night in the Trenches' event, hosted by the Staffordshire Regiment Museum. Our Imperial German Infantry section from IR28 will be in attendance.

November 17th - 20th - the Society's 1917 Centenary commemorative event on the Western Front!! We shall be supporting the commemorations of the Battle of Cambrai, featuring the actions of Tank D51 'Deborah' in the village of Flesquieres.
